February Club Release
Sourced from our Keyhole Ranch estate in the heart of the Russian River Valley, this wine beautifully reflects its cool-climate origins. It opens with an expressive nose of brambly red and black raspberry, layered with sour cherry, delicate floral aromatics, a touch of ginger spice, and hints of vanilla and ripe plum. On the palate, signature Russian River acidity brings a juicy, supple energy, while soft, polished tannins provide balance through the finish.
Its layered complexity makes it a natural partner for hearty dishes like grilled leg of lamb or a rich cannellini bean cassoulet with fennel sausage, pancetta, and smoked pork shanks.
Our Keyhole Ranch estate vineyard, previously a predominately white wine growing site, is now comfortably home to Zinfandel vines showcasing that Zinfandel can thrive and flourish in this unique microclimate, the Russian River Valley. The tempered, cool coastal breezes combined with frequent summer-morning fog create a wine with complex, spicy, vibrant blackberry and briary flavors.
