Seghesio Family Vineyards offers the opportunity to sit and relax away from a busy tasting room bar to enjoy wine as it was intended—around a table with food and friends. Our Family Tables pair our most limited wines with seasonal recipes from the Seghesio family and Chef Peter Janiak. Please join us at the Family Tables any Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

May Wine Release Party

Wood-fired oven. Custom-built Jedmaster smoker. Big Green Egg. We’ve found plenty of ways to indulge our love of cooking outdoors over the years, and now we’re going whole hog — firing up our brand-new Caja China roasting boxes for a pig roast and perfect pairing not to be missed!
Join us as we kick off the summer season with the release of two new Centennial Club selections — our 2010 Home Ranch and San Lorenzo Block 8 Zinfandels — and the flavors of the Caribbean. Caja China boxes are a Cuban family tradition we’re making our own. Chef Peter’s menu will feature perfectly cooked Whole Roasted Pig, Coconut Rice, Havana-Style Baked Black Beans, Oven-Roasted Sweet Potato and Sofrito Hash, and more.
Our 2010 Home Ranch Zin is a worthy followup to the critically acclaimed 2009 vintage, No. 12 on Wine Spectator’s Top 100, exhibiting the richness, complexity and personality that have become this wine’s hallmarks. Our Block 8 Zin, with its red fruits and briary spice, is the perfect accompaniment to summertime barbecues and weekend entertaining.
We’ll round out the festivities with live music by the Carlos Herrera Trio.

Ninth annual Seghesio Zin & BBQ Festival
Date: Saturday, July 28th
Time: noon-4 p.m.

Our barbecue showdown returns with an all-star cast! Pete Seghesio and the Blaze Pit Crew will put their famous ribs up against the barbecue of two of the best — Memphis in May champion Chris Lilly and Dr. BBQ, another legend on the circuit. Enjoy some of America’s best barbecue and a lineup of our favorite Seghesio Zins as we celebrate how it all began: Ten years ago Pete Seghesio met Chris Lilly of Big Bob Gibson’s at Memphis in May, the world’s largest barbecue competition. Inspired by what he saw, Pete headed out to Kansas City to bring back Blaze, our custom-built Jedmaster smoker. How to learn the tricks of the trade? We invited Chris and Dr. BBQ to show us how it’s done, and thus our Zin & BBQ Festival began nine years ago. We’re thrilled to have them back for a showdown like never before!

September Wine Release Party

Here at Seghesio, life can be all fun and games! Join us for a Seghesio Country Picnic at our historic “town square” under the canopy of the century-old trees. Try your hand at the Cork Shooting Gallery and Bocce Contests, as you wile away the late summer afternoon sipping the release wines — 2010 Marian’s Reserve and 2010 Alta Vineyard Co. Nonno’s Rosso, a turn-of-the-century heritage blend. Chef Peter’s cooking up some classic country picnic fare, so roll up your sleeves, break out the picnic blanket and come on down to the party!
